The BILL HEALY INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL AND TOURISM COLLEGE is committed to offering flexible learning and
assessment opportunities to our clients.

Recognition of prior learning (RPL) and Recognition of Current Competencies (RCC)

Is the acknowledgement of a full range of an individual's skills and knowledge, irrespective of how it has been acquired.
It includes competencies gained through formal study, work experience and other 'life' experience.
The BILL HEALY INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL AND TOURISM COLLEGE will ensure that an individual's prior learning is
recognised.

Credit Transfer:
The BILL HEALY INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL AND TOURISM COLLEGE recognises qualifications and statements of
attainment issued by other RTOs for like competencies. Students seeking credit transfer for AQF qualifications
and/or Statements of Attainment must present the original documents, for verification by the provider

Training Environment:
The BILL HEALY INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL AND TOURISM COLLEGE complies with all laws relevant to the
operation of the training / workplace premises including occupational health and safety and fire safety regulations and
ensures that the training premises are of adequate size and have adequate heating, cooling, lighting and ventilation.
The BILL HEALY INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL AND TOURISM COLLEGE implements fair educational programmes to
maximise the participation of students and will provide culturally inclusive literacy and numeracy training that meets
individual, community and industry needs.
The BILL HEALY INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL AND TOURISM COLLEGE will assist students to access support and
guidance services that cannot be offered internally. All students will be required to comply with the The BILL HEALY
INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL AND TOURISM COLLEGE Code of Conduct. Inappropriate behaviours will not be tolerated.

It is the responsibility of all staff to ensure the requirements of relevant legislation are met at all times. Use

Code of practice
General:  
1. The course will be operated to extremely high professional standards in the delivery of educational and
training services. The welfare of students and the safeguard of educational interests are to be given top priority.
2. Public Liability and Work Cover plus Professional Indemnity insurance are to be maintained to safeguard the
welfare of the students and the College.
3. The College to advise the Office of Training and Tertiary Education [OTTE] of any changes to the information
contained in the registration/endorsement application, within 10 days of such an occurrence.
4. The College to allow OTTE or its agents access to training records locations and staff in order to audit
performance of verify compliance with the conditions of registration/endorsement.
5. All fees to be paid to OTTE within 30 days of such fees being due.
